Start a Hive in your community

FavourBee is a network of Hives. A Hive is a local circle — a food bank, a family-resource centre, a seniors' centre, a church, a Legion, a newcomer group, a neighbourhood — running mutual aid that lasts: no burnout (a fair give/get system), no fakes (members are vouched in by real people), real safety (Verified-Hive status plus Vulnerable Sector Checks for higher-trust favours), and no cold start. Grant-friendly — funded by grants and sponsorship, never ads or a cut of the help.

How to start a Hive — free, about two minutes

(1) Create your Hive: sign in, give it a name and a short join code, and you're the coordinator. (2) Invite your people: share your join link or code, and members vouch each other in so it starts warm. (3) Get verified: apply for Verified status and a FavourBee staff member confirms your organisation is real, unlocking higher-trust favours, regional sharing, and a verified badge.

Anyone can start a community Hive instantly. To become a Verified Hive, a real person on the FavourBee team reviews your application and confirms you're a genuine institution — a food bank, Military Family Resource Centre, church, Legion, seniors' centre, newcomer-support group or similar.
