Privacy Policy

FavourBee is operated by Clouthier Simulation Labs (Ontario, Canada) and follows Canada's PIPEDA and applicable provincial privacy laws. We collect your name, email, and Hive; your profile, badges, standing and vouch connections; favours, messages and ratings; an optional coarse location (only if you add it to a post, rounded to roughly your block); a private support note or safety concern if you send one; and basic technical/log data. We use this only to run your Hive, keep people safe, operate and secure the Service, and meet legal obligations — never for advertising, and we never sell your data. Your Hive's members see your profile and posts; coordinators see member details and concerns; regional sharing (Verified Hives only) shows just open favours and a distance. Data is stored in Canada (Google Cloud, Montréal), encrypted in transit and at rest; we use Google Firebase for sign-in/database/hosting and Resend for transactional email. Location is opt-in per post, coarsened (~110 m), shown to others only as a distance, and your live 'nearest' sorting stays on your device. You can access, correct, or delete your information and withdraw consent at any time by emailing hello@favourbee.ca; unresolved concerns can go to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. FavourBee is for people 14+; under the age of majority we ask for a parent/guardian's permission at sign-up.
