Terms of Service

FavourBee is a free platform, operated by Clouthier Simulation Labs, that helps neighbours offer and find unpaid mutual aid within local Hives. FavourBee is not a party to any favour and is not an employer, agency, transportation or childcare provider, charity, or emergency service — in an emergency call 911. You must be 14 or older (and, if under the age of majority in your province, have a parent/guardian's permission, which we ask you to confirm at sign-up), provide accurate information, and keep one honest account. Be kind and lawful: no harassment, discrimination, impersonation, fake accounts, manipulating vouches/standing/ratings, advertising, or misusing others' information. Vouch only for people you truly know; a Verified Hive means staff confirmed a real institution runs it, not that members are background-checked, and a Vulnerable Sector Check reduces but does not remove risk. No money ever changes hands through FavourBee and standing is not money — it has no cash value and can't be bought, sold, or redeemed. Meeting and helping people carries risk and you take part at your own risk; coordinators are volunteer community connectors, not our employees and not vetting services, and a coordinator acting in good faith is not liable for another member's conduct (a Verified Hive's institution holds the duty of care and insurance). The Service is provided 'as is' without warranty, our liability is limited (to CAD $100, as the Service is free), and you agree to indemnify us for your use and conduct.
